OTG (USB host feature) - questions

Hey guys,

I just tried the USB host (OTG) feature on the A3 but every single time, I get the "Connection Error" window. I've tried portable USB drives and two different card readers but nothing.

My overall intent was to be able to read content and play from SD cards - I have the O2 and have tons of the SD cards with content on them - Can I do this with the OTG feature?

...And why won't these little devices connect?

Thanks much!
Brian

Re: OTG (USB host feature) - questions

I have had limited success with using the USB host feature. It would not work with my Canon Powershot. Just wanted to snag pix off of it, and move them to my A3. I was able to connect to, as well as manipulate files on almost any flash drive I tried. I have no explanation as to why it works with flash, but not SD readers. Code issue in the OS, perhaps? Good luck if you ever seen this message.
