Re: Tagging : arating problem
I think this is the right place for my question instead of a separate topic that had no replies for a long time so here it is
the media center is deleting my ratings after a while I am sure I did rate many songs and now 90% of them got unrated I am not sure what is the difference between the lost ones and the kept ones and I didn't find any configuration to manipulate for the media center I wish this has a solution thank you for the program and support |

Re: Tagging Problems/Questions/Suggestions
Nowadays m4a is my favourite music file format. And it is fun to listen to it using jetaudio. But i also like editing the tags of my songs. That was possible until now 'cause i can not edit the tags of my m4a files with jetaudio. So i tried to use other programs such as Tag&Rename and it worked. But another problem just occured because jetaudio doesn't see the tags of m4a files.I add lyrics, album art,etc..but cant view them with jetaudio.
I wonder if it will be possible to edit and view the tags of m4a files with jetaudio in the future. And if it happens how or when it can be ? Through program update or through a new version? By the way i use Jetaudio 7.02.3010 Thanks. Last edited by atiuru : 06-07-2007 at 06:28. Reason: Adding the version of the Jetaudio i currenly use. |

Re: Tagging Problems/Questions/Suggestions
Tag difficulty resolution request:
I decided against starting a new thread as this one seems quite fit to relay my issue. JetAudio no longer displays my track info properly, which it had done previously. I recently edited about 8000 of my 20000 songs using AudioShell (no major changes, just genre/year/basic cleanup). Now, on all files, the OSD and media center now display the not so accurate filename instead of the tag info. I double checked using other programs and had varied results (i.e. tag&rename recognized my edits, iTunes did not; no program/player I tried had the incomplete/irregular display issues I am experiencing with jetAudio). AAC was hit the hardest, showing only the abbreviated filename with irregular time values. MP3 is not showing the album title or the year (OSD set to auto-title, other %x also broken). Is jetAudio having difficulty recognizing the tag versions AudioShell assigned? Any ideas on why it affected all of my files and not just the half I edited? I have done a bit of searching trying to solve this one, but I am stuck. This is very important to me, I love jetAudio, and the detailed OSD is my favorite part. Any help would be greatly appreciated. XP Home SP2 jetAudio version: 7.0.5.3040 AudioShell version: 1.3.5 KCW |

Re: Tagging : arating problem
I am having a problem with the tags because not all songs are being tagged; some of them as tagged as unknown even though the mp3s are properly tagged.
The method I am using to copy the songs to my mobile is through the nokia phone browser |
