A Suggesion to stop the spamers

The Forum looks in very bad shape with these a huge

number of spam posts on it so as suggestion do not let

the new registered users(which are mostly the spams

posters) to post new topics unless these topics authentic

by the administrator or one of the moderators and that

will help to eliminate the spams topics in the forum...

I did not get your point CvP do you mean this feture exist only in a newer vBulletin version? I have seen many companies forums which depend on this feature to stop the spamming.

the only sure shot way to block spams is now to upgrade the forums to a vB version which has spam protection.

there is one other way which is to close new user registration. but that will also stop new human users from registering not to mention there are 100s of already created spam accounts which needs to be manually banned.
