Re: Media Test

Sorry for the late reaction. In the meantime my main system broke down in a hardware way,
so I'm now working on an emergency old laptop with W98.
But you're right : I had my doubts also about the noisy background.
And thanks for the attached images. But unfortunately at the moment I haven't been able to establish
the FTP connection again, so I'm not able to update anything or add the missing file.

Re: Media Test

Connection is there again, so I have been working on the update.
Black background, and I used the two JA icons, because they are much more crispy looking.
I guess you're right about using the play triangle instead of the bullet.

I've placed this URL on several software-forums, and got lots of response, with all kinds of data and suggestions.I will gather all this, and surely will update this page.

Re: Media Test

jetAudio used to have built-in REAL and QuickTime support along with conversion to and from these formats.
they were removed since version 5 because of licensing issue. so can't really blame jetAudio for this. and real alternative and quicktime alternative are the way to go.

Re: Media Test

I'm happy with the features of JetAudio anyway. For example :
I often use multi-channel WAV files to playback (not included in the test so far). In my case 4 channels.
JetAudio is not only the most reliable to play back such a format correctly, but the single volume knob
is great, because it affects all channels simultaneously.
