pterodactyl is still to judged
a few questions (please help!)

hi, i'm having some problems with my new iaudio x5L.

1. how can i make the organization of artists NOT caps-sensitive?
2. how can i fix the scrolling bar so that i can see the name of the song? for example, for certain albums, i click on (for example) "Bob Dylan" and then choose "Blonde on Blonde" and then it says "01 Rainy Day Woman" but for others i go from the "Bob Dylan" folder to the "Blonde on Blonde" folder to a file called "Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde - 01 Rainy Day Woman" and the file name is so long that it takes forever to figure out what song I'm looking at! And i know the player recognizes that the song is just called "rainy day woman" because when I play it, that's all that appears under "song." is there any way to fix this?
3. finally--i was using the player while jogging this morning, listening to the d-playlist. and every now & then it would cut from the middle of the song I was listening to, to the middle of a song that had already been played. and when i picked it up, it would cut back. why is this??

thanks!

You cannot change this. You would have to rename your files.

I have most of my tunes tagged as Track # - Title; a few are Title only with no track number. Each tune shows up on my X5 as Artist, Album, Song. Check the setting from the Main Menu under Settings>Display>Song Title. Mine is set to ID3 Tag. If yours is set to Filename, change it and see if that works better for you. If not, you would need to retag your music.

The X5 contains a hard drive so it has mechanical parts that can be jarred. Check to see if function is normal when you are not jogging. Corrupt or invalid file types can cause erratic playback behavior.
