Tags lost on conversion

I have an OGG file (thousands actually). JA properly displays the tags under properties for artist, album, etc.

I convert them (to WMA for now, MP3 as soon as I figure out that this program works for large-scale conversions) and all the tags are lost.

Does that happen to others? I don't want to have to go back and fix all the tags, surely that would be tedious? Does WMA handle tags differently from MP3 and OGG? And yes I read the Sticky and it didn't seem to apply (since I don't want to use a different program). Thanks!
