JetAudio folder context menu addition crashes XP cascading menus

I reported this bug via a support ticket on 31 July 2006 but when I recently updated JetAudio Basic (to 6.2.8.9938) it not only wasn't corrected, the update turned back on the context menu addition which causes the crash:

--- The Support Ticket ---

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2 on a standard PC, with Classic Menus enabled, and have created cascading menus for non-system folders in my Start Menu by opening the Windows Explorer folder that contains the folder I want then dragging that folder onto the Start button and once the Start Menu pops up dragging it into place on the Start Menu. The folder stays in its original location, but the Start Menu shortcut will cascade when you click on the Start button and hover over the entry you created. (If you create a shortcut for the folder and then drag that shortcut onto the Start Menu it will create a Start Menu entry, but won't cascade. To get cascading, you have to drag the actual folder onto the Start Menu.) If you left-click on the Start Menu item, nothing happens, but if you right-click you get a context menu with a limited number of choices (Open, Explore, Delete, Rename, Sort by Name, Properties). If you then click on Open or Explore, a Windows Explorer window will open for the base folder.

Here's the bug: If JetAudio Preferences / File / File Type Association / "Add jetAudio menu items in context menu of folder" is checked, clicking Open or Explore on the base folder context menu for a cascading menu will crash Windows Explorer. Checking "Add jetAudio menu items in context menu of associated files" will not cause (or cure) the problem. I used "Method 2" at http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm to diagnose this problem. If I use ShellExView (as described on that page) to disable all my installed context menu handlers, including jetAudio, the problem goes away; if I reactivate jetAudio as my only active context menu handler, it comes back. Toggling the setting in the jetAudio preferences dialog also makes the problem go away and come back.

--- End of Ticket ---

Just thought everyone might want to know this since it doesn't look like Cowon is going to fix it any time soon.
