Media Center doesn't list mpeg-1 layer II files

Same problem with WMP. But this isn't freeware, so I expect better. JetAudio is able to play mpeg-1 layer 2 files if I launch JetAudio and then command it to play the file by right clicking on the file in Windows Explorer.
