Radio Doesn't Record
I have the radio set to record every morning. The last few mornings, the green light has been on like it was recording, but when I went to listen to it later, the files were 0:00:00 and would not play. Any ideas?

Re: Radio Doesn't Record
Tech support helped me solve this problem.
When I first had this problem, it was because I didn't have enough space. When you delete the files directly on the A2, it does a pretty good job of freeing up your space. However, I listen to the A2 through Windows Media Player on my computer, then delete the files through the computer. This usually doesn't free up all the space the files were using. So I run a disk cleanup and that frees up the space I need for the next day's recording. For my new problem, there was something wrong with the A2 hard drive. I ran a disk check utility (which took forever) and that fixed the drive and freed up a lot more space than the disk cleanup had. Now my radio recording works right again. Thanks for the idea tech support! |
