JetAudio 7 - media center too slow with large number of media files

Hello Everybody!

Well, I prefer JetA over everything for a long time, but I've got one annoying problem, maybe some of you know the cure. I've got about 50.000 media files stored on my computer, and I like shuffle playing, so I scan for all the media files, and JetA imports them (altought it takes some time), but after every track change are delayed for 3-4 seconds, so it slows down. My machine is not a newbie, but it shouldn't be that slow (2.6 P4, 1G).

Any idea?

so you play 50000 files in one album? that could be a problem!!

just try a lesser number of files for now.

and for jetAudio developers, you guys should take a look at this matter.

Thanks for replying. No, not in one album, I store about 50k files on a hard drive (all of them mp3s) and if I make a scan for all media, it slows down. You know, in media center view theres "all music" and "all media". So if i try to make them shuffle, it becomes slow like a turtle. Im sure it wont happen if I would store 2k files for example, but I'm curious if it affects other people, cause I dont think everyone store just a few thousand media files on their computer.

I have the same problem I have more than 500 albums stored in the media center and every time I launch jetaudio and i left the playlist open the last time when I closed the program, it takes the programs about 30 seconds to launch or start playing anything and actually I started hate the program for this problem and now I'm back to version 6.8 beacuse it is better than version 7 ( which disappointed all for its small features and I think this program start to loses its glory) from many sides.
