New member with first Cowon product - a D2

My name is Barry and I have my first Cowon player. I've been listening for years to audiobooks with a variety of players. I'm very pleased with the D2.

I'm a retired computer programmer. I've been retired for about 12 years. I worked as a programmer for thirty something years. I sort of lost track of how many.

I spend a lot of time listening to old time radio shows and music and especially audiobooks. Most of the books are MP3 but some are from Audible. I bought my D2 the day before the firmware for Audible was released so I can't say that I feel bad that it doesn't work properly with Audible files. But it doesn't and I think someone should know. So I'm hoping to post a message to that effect when I get approval.

With MP3 it's great and that's really my main interest. This is one of the nicest players I've had and I've had a bunch of them.
