Hi All,
I have been using Jet Audio for some years now.. I really, really love it...!! Having all the options to play every type of music, sorting them into albums and playlists. Really.. There is no other player for me!! Especially for the hot-keys Jet Audio has been my player over the years. You can do things very quick and easy... Only with the latest version of Jet Audio 6, the volume works independant from the sound controls of windows. I used to control my windows volume (and wave volume) with Jet-Audio with my hot-keys. Very easy and handy to use.. especially while watching a movie. You don't have to pause the movie or whatever. I would like to know if its possible to control the windows volume with my hotkeys again. Right now I need to adjust my master (and wave) volume everytime. Increasing the volume of Jet Audio will only affect the player and not the windows. I am adjusting 3 controls now to get the best results :S Jet-Audio's, Windows Master Volume and Windows Wave Volume |

There must be some app on the net that is able to change the volume with a hotkey. I'm using PowerStrip right now, but I don't think is worth a download just for volume adjusting. I'll look the net tomorrow, if I find anything useful I'll let you know.

I found one!
It's called Global Audio Control. Looking at its features it lets you assign a hotkey to the master volume. Hope it works! |

i'm having just the opposite problem
i just installed a new mouse driver so i can use the sidescroll function on the microsoft optical wheelmouse 2.0 in xp, and now when i use the volume knob on jetaudio with my wheel, it also controls the global volume. I liked having that knob working seperately from the global and i dont know how to dis-associate it. i tried assigning program specific control and i only get an option to disable the middle button as opposed to the wheel. i tried applying the disable to ctsysvol.exe, and sysvol.exe to no avail. any ideas?

How did you set the mouse wheel behaviour for jetAudio (in jetAudio's preferences or using your software control panel)?
I just set mouse wheel from jetAudio's preferences and I can't reproduce the problem, probably it is related to your mouse driver? |
