Even more new iAUDIO firmware
Well, there have been 2 Korean firmware releases today and yesterday.
One is the version 1.10 Korean firmware for the iAUDIO M3 with following badly translated fixes: Ver. 1.10 - Machinery and tools stability improvement Ver. 1.09 - 16kbps The bug amendment where the case and sound of mp3 file come out unusual - Album and singer scroll function addition - M3L substitution quantity battery confrontation The M3's Korean firmware supposedly works on english players too! Try it at your own risk though! http://download.iaudio.com:8033/data...ware_1.10k.zip And even 4 years after it's entry to the mp3 player market the CW200 (and 300) recieves a new firmware (ver. 3.65 & 4.35): 1. Machinery and tools stability improvement Hopefully Cowon will release these ASAP to the international market!

Wow that's great! The artist / album area scroll function is one we were asking for! Kudos to the crew at iAudio for listening to our suggestions!
And, yes, the firmware operates well in English. |

Quite a few people have done it AFAIK and have had no problems. I think you can even revert back to the old version.
All this information I am giving is second hand and has not been validated by me. Any damage done to your players is purely your own fault. ^Sorry, but I gotta say that just in case someone comes along and says: "But eXity said ..." ![]()

I believe there is no risk whatsoever associated with the usage of korean firmware. It's even in English when you install it on, and it's all too easy to revert. In fact, I use Korean over English atm. (Excuse my bad spelling etc. i have a migraine setting in)

Well, the english firmware has been released over @ iAUDIO.com - so there is no reason for anybody not to upgrade!
