Reset only option if off line and ....
JetAudio 6.0.4.4513 and W98SE 1300 Duron
If I put a web address to a Real audio source (BBC Westway for example) into an album then accidently click on the address when off line an option box with the web address appears with the only option being "YES". I can not understand option boxs with only one option. Clicking on "YES" just gets a repeat of the same box. The only way out is a hardware RESET. |

That's a very interesting bug
Anyways: No need for a hardware reset. Just press ctrl + alt + delete ( http://www.jrgach.com/pictures/keyboard.jpg ) and kill the application jetAudio.exe - that usually works for me. What Operating System are you using?

This is a repeatable bug (for my system how about on yours?) and each time I first used CTL --ALT--DEL to try and kill JetAudio but it can not be killed. So as I said a hardware reset was necessary.

Can you let us know any URL for the RealAudio for testing ?
Normally, jetaudio should stop after displaying the message box when error occurs. What is your Repeat & Play mode (normal, random, program..) ? Last edited by JetAudio Team : 07-06-2004 at 17:01. |

The url is the BBC serial westway.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/ram/westway1.ram and it is followed on the album by part 2 http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/ram/westway2.ram I have just installed and have not changed any thing. Repeat all and normal are set. Hope I can help but it will be a pain to work on with a BSD each time. JetAudio does stop with a message box. But the box just has a "YES" and pressing that gets you another box with the only option of "YES".......... I would like to see a "NO" I can see what you are getting at with the repeat setting and I will try with NO repeat and Normal. |

I just tested some different repeat and play modes with out much change other than many boxes on top of each other,
I found one way to avoid the hardware reset is to dial out and to go online. IF you can get online then the programme starts to download and you can close it. |

I have no firewall.
This is a real problem that shows if you are off line or if the web address is faulty or not responding. There is a way out. If you answer "YES" in the box (your only option) and quickly while JetAudio is trying to connect END TASK from CTL--ALT--DEL . If you are not fast enough a reset is necessary. If you are brave put this or your own faulty address in an album then attempt to play it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/ram/wrongaddress.ram |

There is an easy way out if you get caught in this loop.
Click on "YES" then before the box returns use the X at the top of JetAudio to close the programme. |
