Silly question - playlist info needed

Well, I've owned my M3L for a couple of months now and am truly loving it. I use it on planes, in my car (via my car stereo) and working out. No complaints about it and I love the durability of this thing. I am a relatively boring user - lots of audio books and a reasonable amount of music. I am not nearly the music freak/lover that most M3/L owners are, however, I am now at a point where I listen to enough music that I need some assistance in improving my operational skills. I am ashamed to admit that I don't quite understand the dynamic playlist thing - and the manual isn't helping me. I am embarrassed to admit that up to the point, I have been manually moving from album to album, as opposed to using the dynamic playlist feature. Is there a somewhere on this forum where someone has explained a bit more about dyanamic playlist (basic description) and how to go about a) setting it up and b) setting it to play randomly or in order. I've read a bit about how you can't manipulate the order of your music once you add music, but adding music and utilizing it from here confuses me a bit. Any clarification you can provide would be most helpful.

How I use the DPL.

Basically, I clear the list, and then queue an album. Nav to play the DPL. When I've decided what album I want next, I queue it up. And the next. And next. And so forth. Works best if you queue songs before the list is done playing -- and if it finishes, I find it easier to erase the list and start new than to scroll down to the bottom.

Hope this offers some insight..

also if you want to add a song to the DPL while it is playing (with the main playing window showing) then hold in the REC button for a few seconds until it says "Added to DPL"...this way once u add a whole bunch u just navigate to the DPL and have all ur 'favourite' songs in there
