We did not ignore you, just we did not have enough time to fix your problem. Anyway we did not forget your problem, and still working.
By the way, do you have loading problem even if you turned off Playlist window ?

It seems that some users (bacpp, saeed-constantine) have same problem like that. Unfortunately we can't reproduce the problem. It might be of JFAudFP.dll (crossfade) or window configuration (such as Video window mode and/or Tray only).
We will appreciate if any of users let us know how can we reproduce the problem.

thank you for the reply and Sorry if I was rude in the previous post but really as I said before the problem make me mad every time when i want to use the playlist, and about your question no it closed instantly and I can use the program normally the problem occurred only when I want to load the playlist or change something like hiding the auto playlist or enable them again it also occurred when I choose one of the auto playlist and this is happening even in the media center>>

and if you have any question I will be happy to answer them even if you want to upload the list again I can do that for you>> And thank you the reply it really make me happy and good for hearing that you are working in the problem>>>

funny. i just checked, speed menu is popping up when clicked in both skins.
however, when i posted that, i checked many times. the speed menu was not displaying. I was on using Gunmetal.

edit: i tried in several ways. I cant reproduce the problem. however, I did notice depending on what you are playing, the speed menu changes.
it must be some bug related to that.

when not playing, it displays video speed menu (the one you get by right clicking on video)
when playing audio, it displays normal speed menu (windows style)
when playing video, it display normal speed menu (jetAudio style)

Since this topic is at hands, here's a suggestion which will improve jetAudio's looks A LOT.

play an audio, notice the speed menu style. it uses native windows menu.
please use this system for ALL jetaudio menu. jetAudio's current style is not stylish at all.

also, speed didn't work for a wmv file i tried. it worked for an avi. didn't test any other format.

I can only say that I have encountered this problem a few times before.



another bug is that "reverse button action" in pref > mouse settings.
i dont know how it happens, but if you set it true, it frequently gets unchecked by its own! (this bug is present in all jetaudio builds)

• main window > click send to tray > right click on the place where jetAudio main window was (you have to do it rather fast/instantly)
• most of the times, the right click menu of what is behind jetAudio window will appear

• for a brief moment, if you are (un)lucky and fast enough, clicking on the window will behave like you are clicking on the main window
• as if, when you open a new window
  • it loads the desired window visuals
  • it loads the main window (not visually; only hotspots/clickability)
  • then changes the hotspots into the desired window's

I believe THIS is where the problem lies. It is a fundamental design flaw in your skinning system. Also, if your skinning system is threaded, there might be some thread synchronization issue also.

about this problem: i forgot to mention that it frequently happens if you use double click to fullscreen and restore video screen.

i just managed to reproduce it twice by trying for a minute or so.
first time video seeked to a different position (as if i clicked on the progress bar). second time, duration menu popped up.

• main window was in tray.
• i kept double clicking on the video to make it full screen and windowed
• eventually, this popped up.
•

more bugs/inconsistencies.

• turn on video window from main menu
• then you have no easy way to turn it off
  you must go to video window menu and choose Only When Playing

• after turning on video window, everyone will expect to close it just like other windows using the close button.
• but the close button STOPS current playback
• clicking it again closes the window
• but it shows up again when playing
• just make the close button do these sequentially:
  • stop playback if playing video
  • close the video window
  • set video window display mode to "Separate (only when playing)
• also, change the texts "only when playing" to more sensible "only when playing video"

• playlist window is not synced with what album is being played. really annoying.
• media center is not synced with what album is being played too.

MAJOR Drawback for using jetAudio as primary video player.
JetAudio also fails to interact properly with FFDShow Audio sometimes.

If the mkv file has subtitles, jetaudio not unload haali media splitter after closing player window.

This is not a bug haali media splitter, because with others players(BsPlayer and etс) it works without those problems.

mp4's display the album and track tag in the title.
m4a's have no tags and initially show Duration as 0:00

This Problem Is Not Occurring Every-time Like It Was In jetAudio 8 But I Am Facing This Problem 1/10 Times In Am Using Jetaudio 8.0.1.
