General bug
Performance drops (very low) when moving the following sliders: volume, hue, contrast, brightness, saturation. Especially volume!!!!!
After changing skin: Playback do stop after ending a track.

Design defect
The design (style) of windows (including the sliding windows) does not correspond to design of the main window.
Reason: Resources in Border folder was changed: top.bmp, left_top.bmp, etc.
Windows borders in jetAudio 7 was better.

Same here. Also, when I try to change the icon of one type of video file (ie. MKV, FLV) in Folder Options (WinXP 64-bit), it changes the icon for all type "Video" files. It seems to be a general category thing in that under JetAudio 7, MKV would be listed in Folder Options -> File Types as Matroska Video File while under JetAudio 8, it's just listed as "Video" along with every other type of video file. It generalizes them all. So, it changes all video files' icons to the same thing even if I want to differentiate.

Although not a bug, I liked how in v7 when a video was playing, at the bottom of the window by the other controls, there was a slider bar for video progress. It was easy for me to see, at a glance, from across the room, about how far into the video it was. Since I watch videos fullscreen overlay on my TV and use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, it made seeking also easier to see on the monitor from a distance. Now, in v8, there is no video slide bar, only an audio one and the one you can see right at the bottom of the video when close up, is not really viewable from a distance.

But I think this design is better
especially buttons in windows are better and full screen control buttons

Read attentively: The design (style) of windows (including the sliding windows) does not correspond to design of the main window.

Borders of windows should be identical with the main window. Current result: The common design of a skin is disturbed.

Solution:
Change also style of main windows of skins (recommended).

Or

Restore/change a borders of all floating windows.

Not fixed:
1. DVD playback
Subtitles is transparently displayed when video effects is used (sharpen, denoise).

2. DVD playback
Parental Control doesn't work.
Tested on DVDs with the following categories: U, NC-17, R, PG-13
These discs was tested on WinDVD 2010. There are no problems.

3. Localizations
Missed String resource in JXVidCnv.dll (Video Converter), JFDSPl.dll (DirectShow):
All languages
Can't translate it (screenshot).

4. Incorrect text (screenshot)
Aspect ratio:
1.85 x 1 - Untitled widescreen standard for theatrical film
2.35 x 1 - CinemaScope

5. DVD playback
Missed feature: DirectX Video Acceleration.



JetAudio is outdated as video player.
Not added:
1. Custom aspect ratio (to fix problems with aspect ratio) !!!!
2. De-interlacing
3. For DVD playback
Default Audio Language
Default Subtitle Language

In Windows 7: Current spectrum sometimes do conflict with last versions of AGEIA PhysX (NVIDIA).
Can be result: Spectrum is incorrectly displayed (with defects).

Briefly: Spectrum analyzer is outdated.

It is not bug.
Developers have forgotten to add an option: "Don't display notification when main window is minimized to tray".

Please add this option.
