Question any solution for the mp3 broadcasting problem?

Hello everyone

First I would like to thank all the developers for the great product. I've switched from Winamp to Sonique and finally to jetAudio.

Now, about the problem:

I've searched the forums and found that the problem with mp3 broadcasting (failed opening encoding codec filter, ACM MP3 driver is not installed) is present in older jetAudio versions.
Well, I have the latest one (jetAudio 6.0.6.4806 Basic, jetCast 2.0.3.4510) and am experiencing the same problem

If this can help, my hardware/software spec. are:

Code:
CPU: Intel Pentium III Xeon 550 MHz
RAM: 256 MB
SB: Creative SB16 Valve

OS: Windows 98 SE (Unofficial SP 1.6.2)
Antivirus: AVG6 Free
Firewall: Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1.5
(inbound/outbound connections to/from jetCast and jcServer allowed)
I've tried to broadcast using Ogg Vorbis (128/196 kbps constant bitrate) but there is a another problem - the remote player (tried with Winamp on Windows and XMMS on Linux) connects, gets counted as listener, but no music plays - buffering from 0 to 100%, buffering 0..100% again and again. The connection between the server and the listener is not the problem - 100 MBps LAN. I've tried listening from the same computer where the server is - again only buffering, forever.

Thanks in advance
Todor

P.S. Excuse me for my fractured English.

NeTo has passed the judgement!
There's no known solution for the encoder filter problem. Maybe you can try with a clean jetAudio install, or using the wma codec for broadcasting.

Well this won't help with the MP3 problem, but I found the same problem with the Ogg format.

The Ogg format can be fixed by http://youripaddress:port/listen.ogg

I hope that helps.

Sebastien
