Jet Audio Output Format - No MP3

When I go to rip a CD (using Jet Audio) in my list of output formats I can chose all of the formats available except for the MP3 format.

So what I end up doing is ripping the CD as WAV files, and then converting the WAV files to MP3 files using Jet Shell. Doing it this way is counter productive as I have to go through two procedures to rip a CD in MP3 format

According to the Jet Audio instruction manual, where it shows how to rip a CD, the picture showing the output formats has the MP3 format in the list.

How come I can't choose that option? Does anyone else have this issue?

I have attached a picture of what Jet Audio looks like for me when I go to rip a CD (please note that I did not have a CD ready to be ripped at the time, but when I do have a CD ready to be ripped the output format selection is the same)

What version of jetAudio do you have? The basic (free) version of jetAudio doesn't support mp3 encoding because of licensing issues. Only the plus (paid) version of jetAudio supports that feature.

Thanks for the info. I checked and it turns out that I have the "basic" version. So that would be my problem!!

How does one get their hands on the "plus" version?
