jetAudio 6.1.4 - Serious Playback Problem!

Hi,

I'm having a problem with jetAudio Plus 6.1.4. Any media I playback acts up on me. It will 'sample' about 5 seconds of a song and repeat this 'sample' infinitely. I've tried various formats, and various user options to stop this, but nothing works. Can I rewind to 6.1.3 somehow? I was having no problems with that version of jetAudio. If you need more information, I'll gladly answer it.

Do you have problems in playback audio files only ? (how about video playback ?)
Please try waveOut instead of DirectSound.

Goto Preferences -> Advanced -> Output -> Click Sound Card Output -> Press Config button -> Choose Use waveOut.

Please let us know about your DirectX version, and OS.
Check if you have installed latest sound card driver also.

Thank you, that seemed to have fixed it!

One last question, when converting MIDI to a non-MIDI format, how do I make it to where it sounds like that of the Windows MIDI Driver, and not that of which is provided with jetAudio?

Yes, it works now with both options, thank you.

Windows XP, SP2, Version 2002.
I do not know my DirectX version, I beleive it is version 9.0.
Soundcard Realtek AC97 Audio (intergrated with ECS Motherboard) (I need to upgrade, I know )
