The reason you need to do this is because you're dealing with a data cd. Disk mode is specially coded as audio cds or movie dvds. You might have a similar issue with a cd with a bunch of mp3 tunes on it, since XP also treats it as a data cd.

Here's how I did it on my computer:

1. In My Computer, right-click the CD or DVD drive you wish to use to play your AVI cds.

2. Click the AutoPlay tab.

3. Select "Video files" in the drop-down list.

4. Click the "Select an action to perform" option.

5. Scroll thru the list of options and choose "Play using jetAudio".

6. Click OK and you're done!

Test it by inserting a disk that has an DivX/Xvid AVI file on it. XP should automatically launch jetAudio, and jA should automatically play the movie.

(Google for autoplay (or autorun) settings if you have an older version of Windows.)

I don`t have a problem with playing videos when I insert a CD. The problem that needs to be fixed is this: let say that I put a CD in CD-rom and autoplay starts the movie. I watch it for a while and than I stop it and play a MP3 or some other a/v file. Than I decide to watch the movie from CD again (the CD is still in the drive ofcourse) - but this time I have to open it via "open files/url" button (or double click on it in explorer) becouse the disc mode doesn`t work. You see what I mean? Although this isn`t very annoying it would be nice if it would be fixed.

It would be grateful we could change languages in our avi files with dual audio for the different languages.

You can change the language using Audio Stream Switcher that is incorporated within jetAudio (I think that v6.17 and lower don`t have a Stream Switcher).
If you are using an older version of jetAudio than you should either:
a) update it to the latest version
or
b) install mmswitch

It would be nice if the future version of jetAudio has the sliders inside the playlist. Volume slider and position slider should be there. Usually I have jetAudio in the tray (I don`t use bars) and I have to maximize it if I want to change the volume and position of a song. Just a thought...
There should be also an option to import albums (playlists) from Windows Media Player. I think that this is expected by your costumers. (not by me, becouse I don`t use WMP for ages)

This would be a nice addition. I noticed with hardware mixing on my audigy 2 zs notebook card using Foobar 2000, it makes a lot of difference.

What are you talking about? There are sliders in the playlist for volume and position. What version of Jetaudio do you use, version 5? Version 6 has always had this.

you need to set the width of the playlist greater than a certain amount or the SeekSlider & VolSlider won't appear.
