No one is answering at cowon, can someone else help? M3l no sound problems
Ok I bought an M3L a couple of months ago and initially, everything was good. I loved the device. It played great and all the features worked well but after a couple of months the remote broke and all I could use it for was turning the device on and off. None of the other buttons functioned. So I RMA'd it and received it back from them. I tested the remote and all the buttons work again; however, it will not play sound when playing an mp3.
But it's not the remote or headphone jack because it plays sound while on "radio" mode. I have tested several different sets of headphones and different file formats that I ripped myself and played perfectly on it before I sent it away.
I have contacted tech support and sent a few e-mails back and forth with them. They asked for samples of the files I ripped so they could test them on thier players and I sent two. I have not heard back from them since. It has been a week and I have had no correspondance since. I have since sent 3 e-mails asking if they received everything ok and asking them to get back to me on what I should do, yet there has been no response. Currently I am on "hold" calling the number from the website and I have left the hands-free speaker on the "hold" system for an hour now.
Can anyone give me some sort of advice to get the M3l working or give me a better way of contacting support? As it seems that the phone doesn't actually go anywhere and they have stopped responding to my e-mails asking what i should do.
