Volume Fluctuates

I'm fairly new to jetAudio. I'm having a problem with volume fluctuations that are getting very frustrating. When I start listening to mp3 files everything is fine until I hit the pause button. When I press the pause again to resume playing the volume level is 2-3 times higher than before. As soon as I touch the volume dial it immediately returns to the previous level.

I could adjust to the higher or lower volume as long as it doesn't change when pausing and un-pausing.
