Here's the "almost" completed version of "jetBar".

What is "jetBar"?
jetBar is a skin for WindowsMediaPlayer (tested version WMP10; Needs WinXP for alphablending effects)
it is originally the "Default_BarSp" skin of jetAudio. I ported it for WMP.

Why jetBar?
When jetAudio devs released their skin resources so that anyone can make a skin for jetaudio, i started to make one.
but without any good manual (the one available is not sufficient) and with their messed up and "weak" skining system,
i was unable to create the skin as i have dreamed.
then i forfeited it and started to create this "jetBar" for WMP so that everyone can see and enjoy
how jetAudio's skin should have been (atleast how i always wanted).
and maybe, after jetAudio Devs will do something about their rotten skinning system (if they ever see it!!!).

Why late?
i had some very important exams. So, I was unable to continue this project for 3months.
now the exams are finished, i'm on it again.

About WMP's skinning system...
simply, it is very very powerful.
if anyone fiddles with an existing skin, s/he''ll be able to easily create a simple skin.
for advanced skin (like jetBar) you'll need to read WMP's SDK and know a little JavaScript.
WMP's skins are very small in size, coding and supports Button Mapping (which makes skinning easier).
and it requires less memory/cpu and it is fast.
till now, I haven't found any Bugs in it...

About jetAudio's skinning system...
it is better than jetAudio 4x skinning, but it really ****s.
it is NOT flexible at all.
Skinner has only a few options to change which forces all skins to have the same boring interface.
you can't even put the "Timer Section" in a sliding panel...!
Skins are HUGE compared with WMP and requires many (and i mean many) images to complete a new skin.


How to install...
unzip the file
jetBar (first extract it, then the other file).zip
in the same directory.
you should get jetbar.z01 and jetBar.zip in same folder.
now unzip jetBar.wmz using jetBar.zip
and run the jetBar.wmz

About the skin...
mainly this skin is filled with collapsable, smooth moving portions and alphablend (fade) effect.
the uncollapsed skin is a medium sized skin.
if you collapse all the parts, you'll get a very tiny skin and you can collapse parts as your wish.
the skin is pretty easy to understand (with a little help from the picture below).
the only thing i need to mention is that it is not complete yet.
still there's nearly 10 buttons with "Return to Full Mode" commands.
they are supposed to do what their tooltip (tip that appears after hovering mouse) says.
i have to fix them...

To Do->
1. Fix those non-working buttons
2. Make-up the Playlest
3. Add lyric viewer
4. Add some more buttons representing internet activities (eg. radio) of WMP
5. maybe a color chooser
6. some minor fixes (like the "about" window)
7. add some more buttons...(i have some space left )

oh! if anyone is concerned about viruses, this zip file contains nothing but
a wmz file (wMP skin file) which contains 2 text files and about 250 image files.
