thus, it is no where near how a real video converter should be. the reason why LoH provided you "some other software" solution is currently there is no known solution (to us i.e. the users) for fixing the thing you are having problem with. until cowon fixes this, use LoH's solution or you can do whatever you like... |

Re: convert to mp4 needs ffmpeg
Well, i ran into a way to fix the ffmpeg problem. First of all, you got to be usind Jetaudio Plus.
Here's what you do: 1. Upgrade Jetaudio Plus with jetAudio 6.2.6 Plus VX, which is available at COWON jetaudio's website. (http://www.cowonamerica.com/download/ ) 2. Download the "ffmpeg_vx.zip" from the link below, unzip it and copy the file "ffmpeg_vx.exe" to you Jetaudio Folder located on you hard drive. http://rapidshare.de/files/23601043/ffmpeg_vx.zip.html Hope this helps ![]() |

Re: convert to mp4 needs ffmpeg
I was looking at purchasing JetAudio but after reading this forum I'm not sure. I ran into the same problem with the FFMPEG. I gotta say mr moderator that your answer about it is a video converter for iAudio only is a bit lame (pardon the pun). When I installed the trial version of JetAudio it installed an application called Video Converter. The Video Converter is very fast and has options to convert to other, similar portable devices, such as PSP. It even has an option in the menu for PSP and to specifically convert video to the formats and screen sizes that PSP supports so to my mind it is definitely an intentional inclusion as a product feature within JetAudio and to say it is only for use with iAudio is completely unfounded. I accept that software can have problems, but there is an onus on the developer to release supported working features, especially, as in mine and others, the software would be purchased for the use of this particular feature.
