There seem to be many unanswered threads/posts on volume issues related to JetAudio.
Personally, I like the software a lot, but this particular issue is becoming too annoying for me to continue using it. In short, double-clicking an audio file (mp3, usually) plays the file but at a reduced volume. Touch the scrolling bar or just pause & unpause and you'll have 2 to 3 times the volume. Now, I've seen a total of 4 threads on this. The funny thing is that all 4 had no replies. I use Scheduled Tasks to play a specific mp3 at certain times during the day. The file plays at a very low volume. Leaving JetAudio up and running with the same file, I can hit the scroll bar (the one that tells how far you are on the track) and voile ... now the volume is where it should be (since I have volume controls up) at a piercing 2 to 3 times louder volume. I tried resetting. I tried controlling things via the Windows Master control. I've even reInstalled the app. To be sure, I've checked the same exact thing with other players and sure enough to isolated to JetAudio. From what I can see, it seems to be a synchronization issue. I'm going to try a different output, but one should not really be doing that. Any reply, feedback, suggestion, etc. is welcome. Thanks, Koebrah |
