New iAudio 5 stops working after firmware upgrade
This bummed me out. I just got my new iAudio 5 in the mail this morning, then the first thing I did was upgrade the firmware to 1.20
After following the directions (From multiple sources) the firmware upgrade program goes through the upgrade process and says it's complete. Right after I take out the player, I insert my battery to fire it up, but it doesn't turn on. I try to plug it back in the computer, no response, the computer doesn't even recognize the hardware. I tried it without the battery, no response. I tried it on a different computer, with different USB cables, same deal--no response.
I purchased it from cowonamerica store and called their tech support. He emailed a RMA link to me and I filled it out and submited it online. So far there is no response from the tech representatives..
Did anyone else get this problem or had to RMA their player? Did you have it fixed?
