Jetaudio Skinnigs System Bugs !

Here is an List with Bugs, i figured out during the skinbuildingtime :-)

Some features i can use just in the main window, some just in sliding windows! Some from the left i can?t use in top or bottom. Why ?

Some Features only work in special Windows, like the flying one. For example the Play list? why i cant implant it in the main window ???

Why I can place the mixer to the top sliding window, but not to the right??? What?s about the LEFT Window ? Why I can?t use this ?

What is the different between flying windows and extern windows??? If the left is an extern, why he is named as an sliding windows ?

For some functions, like the Tag editor, are buttons ready to use in the Skin SDK ? but what number is the ID for that function ? I can?t use it !

Is there an list of the Programm ID´s and how to use it ? ( Thats would be very helpfully, for example, if I want to build an DJ Skin? what I have to do to start 2 players at once for mixing ?)

Why, some things are taking together , like the watch , but the most there was an function like tis helpful not ?

Why i cant declare some buttons as an Block for easier handling ?

Why the photo window change his dimensions if i change the position ?

What gadget is for which function working and what not?

Where is an list for Reading what function is for what and what values i have to take for it ?

Why i cant implant other type fonts in the jsk file ? i only can use system fonts or have to produce an installation file if i use other?

Why i cant show all effects if I delete the effect-toggle, but not show all EQ´s if I delete the EQ toggle ?

How i can change the transparent colour ? if i want to build an purple player skin I have an problem if the transparent colour is 255,0,55?

Why I can set the highness of the sliding windows but not the wideness ?

Why I can change all sliders to volume sliders (circular) but not the track slider ? The Track slider can only used horizontal or vertical but not circular (as an jog shuttle)

If I try that, the indicator dancing wild around the area and if I press him, the title stops and go back to the start position!!!

In the sdk-Directorys are buttons for an albumwindow. But the album window have an totally other ?Skin?.

And in the script is no Album window area, so i can´t change the Album window????

Why i can?t skin the Jet cast window? Why you don?t make jetcast and jetaudio as one?

First of all, i's a regular here. Not now i guess. But i'm happy to see that you are working hard to make some new skins with some kewl ideas...

everything you listed are the way they made the skinning system. you can't change it and there isn't any workaround.
except:

IDs: There're some IDs not mentioned. Like the Top window and the Right Window. However, there're bugs when using Top/Right windows so better leave them (don't use them)
And for tag editor, try searching the ID by finding which IDs are not used. They uses IDs serially; Say like, ID for Top window is 5, ID for Left is 6, Bottom is 7 and right is 8...
I'm pretty much there're is a for tag editor. You might wanna ask jetAudioTeam...

AlbumWindow: It'll be implemented in jetAudio version 7
you'll be able to edit album window then.


P.S. - I wanted to make somenice skins for jetAudio too but due to these limitations, i stopped. However, skining for WindowsMediaPlayer is very flexible if you know what i mean. See this skin i built for MediaPlayer which i originally intended to build for jetAudio.

Hi...

i checked many free ID´s but there are too much free ID´s (55.000) ;-)
To ask the cowon Team is an good Idea, but nobody answers emails at cowon... :-(
At my board i have post an ID list, i made: ID LIst

Where is an feature List for Jet7 ??? It could be helpful for developers...

I know, that the WMP Skinning system is the best at this time, but the problem is, i use jetaudio - so i want to make skins for jet ;-)

Can you Post your WMP Skin at the www.media-play.de Forum ?
We could need help for the WMP section at this Board. MAybe you could make an tutorial for skinning WMP and monitor the english spoken postings ?
Exity is there too, but he is buisy with audiophile...
What you think about that ?

sort the skins by "Update" and "Decending"
jetBar should be somewhere near the top.
or just search it in the search field.

try that link one more time. i updated that skin when i posted that link.
so the skin was in AwaitingModeration state and none but me has the access. but now it's back online again.


and your site...man, it's so much "german" that i couldn't even register...
atleast The Registration Process and some most common things should be in English...that you must do for non-germans.

yeah... the board was build in german and now, we change it part by part to international :-)

I think the upcomming Website will help first. But there is so much to do... without helping hands we will need much time :-(
