Do you mean the album Manager?
If yes, click on "Album" and then select the album you want to delete and the click the red "X" button to remove it.
If you want to delte individual files from your playlist just remove them by clicking on any of the file(s) and then on the "del" key.

And I do recommend you mess around with JetAudio a little longer. I love it and I'm sure you will, as soon as you get used to it!

thanks for the reply exity.

At the moment im still finding my way round but i tried what you said and its still the same.

when i click on 'album', under the clock, i get a 'album mangagement' window with 'playlist' and 'default album' in the left pane of this window. i highlight 'default album' and nothing shows in the right pane; i highlight 'playlist' and the list of files shows in the right pane, which are files i have recently viewed, they are all video files.

when i select one or all then delete, shut down this window or all jetaudio then reopen, the files are all there again.

when i click the 'playlist' under the clock the same files show and i get the same result after deleting them all.

if a file is deleted from this playlist by 'right click on file/file management/file delete' i sometimes get the 'confirm file delete' window asking if i want to bin it.....

sorry to go on and its getting a bit long winded now but its a bit confusing so far and not as impressive as was suggested to me

thanks again

That's strange ... I just tested exactly what you said and it works absolutally fine!
I am using version 6 though - but I can't ever remember having problems like that. NeTo should be here soon and I hope will be able to help you out!

NeTo has passed the judgement!
Hi ermmm!

Probably you're confused to what Albums and playlist are in jetAudio.

Have you used Winamp before? In that program you arrange your songs in playlists. In jetAudio, you arrange your songs/videos in Albums, not playlists.

The playlist in jetAudio, as you have already guessed, list the songs you have opened already. Also, in the Palylist Window (press Ctrl+T to view it, or select Playlist On/off from the tray menu) you can select what album to play.

You should create new albums, and add your files there. Here's how:

* In 'Album Management' look for the 'New Album' button and click it
* A dialog appears where you can select the Album Name and Artist.

You have now two options:

1) Click Ok, to create the album. You can add files there as you wish. You can select this album later in the playlist window (Ctrl+T).
2) Associate the album with a folder. On the New Album dialog, select 'Link to folder', and then Browse to choose a folder. With that, your album should be used only to store files from this folder. Clicking 'Monitor this folder...' tells jetAudio to add new files from that folder to the album when necessary.

Now, if you already have created some albums, you can close the Album Management Window. You can start listening to your albums by:

* As i said before, clicking Ctrl+T to display the playlist window. You can select there from a list, what album to listen to.
* Right clicking the jetAudio icon in the system tray. Under 'Album' you can browse an album to play. This is very useful when you're using other program, and you want to listen to an specific album.

You may need some time to get used to this album system, but consider that the rest of jetAudio's features are worth the try (great, hi-quality decoding engine, convertion/burning support, etc.).

Good luck using jetAudio!
