What's new in Firmware 1.20


Note : COWON Media Center- JetAudio can easily convert or rip your files to compatible files.

	Improved Video codec
	-	Fixed the error that the screen gets white occasionally when the LCD is on.
	-	Movie player: Improved playback files that don't have audio tracks.
	-	Improved Power Management system: Changed to reset the auto LCD off timer and auto power off timer when the LCD is on by touching screen after the screen was off.

	Stabilized playback of audio/video files.

	-	Improved performance to seek/ff/rew WMV file.
	-	Fixed the error of displaying incorrect playback time on certain files.

	Improved Video codec
	-	Fixed the error of skipping or braking up while playing a video file two times faster.

	Video Player
	- -	Fixed the error that playback button was displayed incorrect in certain situation. Fixed the error that other video file was played when pause button was pressed in certain situation.

	Picture Viewer
	-	Fixed the error that occurred when "TV out" button was clicked several times.

	File browser
	- -	Fixed the error that occurred when "Paste" button was clicked in certain situation. Fixed the error that occurred when move up to higher folder of Zip files.


What's new in Firmware 1.16


Note : COWON Media Center- JetAudio can easily convert or rip your files to compatible files.

	Feature Improvements & Bug Fixes

	Changed the way to adjust volume. It is changed to adjust volume of earphone and speaker separately.
	- - -	Speaker: Sound out of speaker only. Earphone: Sound out of earphones only. Auto: Automatically changed to sound out of earphone when it is connected to earphone.
	When earphone is disconnected, it is automatically changed to sound out of speaker.

	Speaker mute at rejecting earphone option is deleted in Device settings. Select earphone output to prevent sound out of speaker when earphones are disconnected.

	Improved supporting video codec
	- - - - - -	Fixed the error that certain video files were not playing correctly. Fixed the error of aspect ratio with certain MPEG-2 files. Fixed the error that certain MKV files were not playing when Syntax error occurred. Fixed the error that certain MKV files were not playing, if the file contains stream data which is applied compression. Fixed the error that certain VOB files are not playing correctly, if the file contains PTS discontinuous section. Fixed error with displaying files when you tried to seek certain files.

	Voice recorder
	-	Fixed the refreshing display error on the place of hourglass was.

	Fixed the error that SD card was not recognized in certain circumstance when it is connected to PC.

	Feature Improvements & Bug Fixes

	-	Improved supporting Video Codec. Support "y264" FourCC. Fixed the A/V sync problem error with certain Multi-Audio files. Fixed parsing error with headers of certain MP4 files.

	-	Fixed the error of Aspect Ratio processing in Video player.

	-	Fixed the error of displaying black line in main menu after minimizing Video player.

	Feature Improvements & Bug Fixes

	-	Improved graphics performance. Dragging and controls are improved by improving graphics performance. (e.g., Picture dragging in picture viewer, etc.)

	-	Stabilized file system. Please upgrade to Stabilized file system.

	-	Improved compatibility of playback some video files.

	-	Fixed the error that system is abnormally off when it is off by sleep timer while playing music file.

	-	Improved displaying subtitles in Movie mode. Fixed the error that subtitle is not synced when speed value is adjusted. Fixed to effects displaying subtitle without any delays after changing synchronization value.

	Feature Improvements & Bug Fixes

	-	Added TV-out feature in Picture mode. Added feature of TV-out picture slideshow by touching TV-out button in Slideshow mode in Picture Viewer.

	-	Fixed displaying error of certain files in Picture mode. Fixed the error that wallpaper was displayed on the right bottom of the screen and rotation function was not working when certain picture files were selected in Picture viewer.

	Feature Improvements & Bug Fixes

	-	Fixed the error of playback WMA files. Fixed the error that certain WMA files were stopped playing.

	-	Fixed the error of SPDIF output. Fixed the error that unusual sound had occurred when SPDIF-output was connected after HDMI-Out was connected.

	-	Fixed the error of Multi-Subtitle track. Fixed the error that certain multi-subtitle tracks were displayed in same line.

	-	Fixed the displaying error of "Music" menu box in Launcher. Fixed the error that “Music” text had disappeared when “Music” menu icon was touched after moving the poison of the icon.


What's new in Firmware 1.09


Note : COWON Media Center- JetAudio can easily convert or rip your files to compatible files.

	Feature Improvements & Bug Fixes

	-	Support up to two languages in a subtitle in Videos mode. It is possible to display up to two classes in a subtitle if the SAMI file contains more than two classes.

	-	Improved displaying image quality in Picture Mode. Displaying image quality on the screen is improved. Optimize decoding setting is deleted and it is changed to load images with original size.

	-	Fixed the error that Launcher Menu was stopped. Fixed the error that launcher Menu was stopped when video player and flash player were turned off abnormally or hold icon area was clicked on the taskbar.

	-	Fixed the error in moving launcher Menu. Fixed the error that launcher Menu loaded with default when it is reboot after adjusted menu icons.

	-	Fixed the error of down arrow button on the keyboard. Fixed the error of the button images were displayed abnormally when the "↓" key was pressed in the bigger keyboard.
